CAUDALIO / LEARN

A few steps.
A world of possibilities.

Get to know the tools. Make your first scene.

QUICK START

STEP 01

Find your workspace

Open a show or start with the demo. Your canvas shows the composition, while layers and columns keep your media and cues organised.

Press F1 whenever you want the in-app guide.

STEP 02

Build your first sequence

  1. Import your media with Ctrl + I.
  2. Switch to Edit mode and arrange clips in layers and columns.
  3. Set your fades, then click a column header to launch the scene.

Use Space for the next cue. Launch individual clips to make changes as the show unfolds.

STEP 03

Let your cues flow

Right-click a column header and choose Auto-GO settings. Set a delay to advance automatically to the next cue.

Pause holds the countdown. Resume continues it. Save your show to keep your timing.

STEP 04

Make the space your canvas

Open Outputs, assign your displays and choose which part of the composition each one shows.

Use corner pinning and mesh warping to fit your surfaces. Adjust edge blending where projections overlap, and use the test pattern to check the result.

STEP 05

Connect your setup

In Connect, assign MIDI, OSC or ArtDmx inputs to show actions. Learn a control, choose its action and save your profile.

Optional NDI® video input brings live network sources into your composition. It requires an NDI-enabled build.

For timecode-led playback, use OSC or MIDI timecode to follow the active cue.
